The Brinker management comprises a group of highly experienced and talented individuals who have been pioneering the oilfield applications of Platelet® technology to solve some of the industry’s largest challenges of bringing shut-in wells back on line.
Iain Chirnside – Executive Director
Iain is a founder director of Brinker and has been involved with the core technologies since 1999. Initially working as a development technologist, he became General Manager on the spin-out from Aberdeen University in 2003. Now Product Manager, he supports the commercial and technical teams, manages Brinker’s IP portfolio and has a deep insight into our core technologies and their applications.
Raymond Cowan – Finance Manager
Raymond joined Brinker full time from August 2009, having previously acted as a consultant to the company. Before running his own consultancy, he was Finance Director for 15 years at private equity-backed SPS International. He was part of the exit team that successfully sold SPS International to M-I SWACO in 2006.
Nick Ryan – Group Chief Scientist
Nick has over 20 years of industrial and academic experience and is one of the founders of Brinker working in the company since its inception. Previously a lecturer in engineering at Aberdeen University he brings a strong technical background to the business. Nick has undertaken a range of roles from Project Manager through Technical and Development Manager to his current role. Passionate about the science and technology behind Brinker’s products, Nick has been central in developing Brinker’s IP portfolio.
Kenny McAllister – VP sales and operations
Kenny joined Brinker in December 2010 and with more than 16 years' experience bringing new technology to the oil and gas industry, through a variety of roles in sales, operations and general management, he has worked across the world spending time in Europe, Africa, FSU and the Middle East. Formerly a senior account manager with Halliburton, Kenny started his career working in research and development with ICI, one of the UK's largest companies. Leading our sales and operations team, Kenny's extensive knowledge of downhole and surface technologies, together with his expertise in new technology adoption and expansion, will add significant value to the service we provide for our clients.
